Numbers and mathematical symbols instantly scramble the brains of the non-mathematicians of the world, but many of them are actually quite elegant, even beautiful. This project sought to separate those symbols from their meaning and turn them into the brush strokes of a portrait of one of the world’s most famous writers of equations, Albert Einstein. The portrait was printed on pages of an old physics textbook, then tiled together for the final poster.
