NEED Magazine was a publication featuring humanitarian stories from around the world. Another designer and I collaborated on this story layout to fit within their existing style guide while conveying the themes of the story. The article was then published in an online version of the magazine.

This project first ignited my love for the intricacies of publication design when I pointed out that a block of text appeared to be “registration black” rather than pure black and my collaborator marveled “how did you notice that? You’ve got an amazing eye for detail!” Yes, Franzi. Yes, I do.
